Common combustion methods of boiler burners
At present, natural gas boilers are widely used and have become a key focus of energy-saving and environmental protection renovation in the thermal industry. Do you know how the burner of the gas boiler you are using burns? What we are going to talk about today is the combustion method of gas boiler burners.
1. Diffusion combustion.
The diffusion combustion method does not involve pre mixing, but rather allows the gas to diffuse with each other at the nozzle before burning.
Advantages: This combustion method does not involve pre mixing, and its combustion method is relatively simple, with a relatively stable flame.
Disadvantages: Due to the long flame, incomplete combustion is prone to occur, resulting in a large amount of carbon monoxide and nitrogen oxides, which is not conducive to the full utilization of boiler fuel and improving boiler thermal efficiency, making it difficult to meet boiler emission standards.
2. Full premixed combustion mode.
Full premixed combustion refers to the mixing of natural gas with air before combustion, and then entering the burner for mixed combustion.
Advantages: Pre mixing of air and gas, multi radiator heat transfer, and increased heat transfer intensity. The advantage of using this combustion method is that the combustion flame is clearer and the thermal efficiency is higher.
Disadvantages: The combustion premix ratio requires precise combustion speed, uniform combustion, and sufficient radiation heat transfer.
3. No flame combustion.
In the combustion chamber, a combustion method of uniform mixing of the pre combustion space and the gas furnace is adopted. When using this method, the oxygen required for gas combustion does not need to be obtained from the surrounding air, as long as it reaches the combustion zone with the air mixture, combustion can be immediately completed.
Advantages: Flameless combustion is a mild combustion mode under low oxygen dilution conditions, characterized by low reaction rate, less local heat release, uniform heat flow distribution, small temperature difference in the furnace, low peak combustion temperature, minimal noise, and low NOX generation.
